This program is led by our school Theology teacher and Musician Mr. Fessenden. A “schola” is the ensemble that sings the chants of the Church. Students will be exposed to this beautiful musical treasury of the Church so it does not become lost. This is a fun musical adventure for grades 4-8 at any musical level. The students will learn the ancient Gregorian chant in the participation of the Holy the Mass and in keepng of spiritual aspects linked to our school. Schola is a reverent culmination of prayerful music. The St. Mary School Schola will be performing at different school and parish events throughout the school year.
PALS Chess Club Grades K-5

PALS Chess Academy, one of Colorado's premier chess programs and we offer it. Chess Club will enrich students logic, math and reading comprehension skills. Students learn to calculate options and evaluate consequences, overcome obstacles and practice visualization techniques to think a few steps ahead. This is organized for all levels and the group does mixed level challenges.
Art Club Grades K-3 & Grades 4-8

This club is led by our school Art teacher and Artist Ms. Schieffer. Being a virtue school her art events often come with an artistic catholic twist including art projects inspired by Michael Angelo, Da Vinci and other famous works using ceramics, water color, oils and pastels. Snacks are provided. Art Club is one of the best art sittings with beautiful creations for your students to bring home.
First Lego League Grades 2nd, & 7th

The purpose of the league is to provide young girls & boys an opportunity to learn and focus on the fundamentals of engineering as they explore real-world problems, learn to design and code, and create unique solutions made with LEGO bricks and powered by LEGO Education SPIKE Essential. Each Grade level has their own robot and will practice and code leading up to organized tournaments.
Young Science Club Grades 1-4
Meets: Tuesdays
Location: Middle School Science room
Time: 3:00- 4:30
Science Club is engaging and exciting where students pose thoughtful questions, ponder potential possibilities, and test their hypothesis. This program is led by the Assistant Principal, Mrs. Russell. Each lab (class) has a systematic approach to build concepts one upon another. This five week session course will have science learning lab safety, there students will perform over 18 different experiments, including " cool"dry ice.

Open Gym is an organized practice where students of all levels can learn and explore basketball . This helps students establish skill development, team play and sportsmanship. This is a great place for students interested in basketball to gain confidence, practice shots, dribble, pass and learn how to layup. Come get some practice, learn the game and get some exercise.

The Soccer Shot's developmentally appropriate curriculum places an emphasis on character development and skill building.Their program is created under the guidance of childhood education specialists, professional soccer players and experienced and licensed soccer coaches.
